Fall Assembly: November 8 – 10, 2019 – Region 5 of Overeaters Anonymous

We hope you will join us at the upcoming 2019 Region 5 Fall Assembly, which will be held at the Holiday Inn Cleveland South. This is the same hotel where the 2020 Region 5 Convention will be held next year on October 9-11. As such you will be getting an advanced sample of how awesome this hotel will be for our 2020 convention.
We have a lot of work to do. By attending you will be contributing to continuing effort by our business committees and committee of the whole to help the OA members, groups, and intergroups in our region. We will be deciding the 2020 budget and voting in an election for Region 5 Vice-Chair and Secretary. We have many more decisions to make and actions to take and we need every one of you get it done.

Registration
Registration starts on September 27th, 2019 and will be online only. You can access the online registration form by clicking the button above. We will not have a paper form for the 2019 Fall Assembly. However, you will still be able to pay by check, if you so desire. Registration will close at midnight on October 25th, 2019.
Representatives may register for $48.00 through October 25th, 2019, though there will be an early bird price discount of $5.00 for $43.00 for those who register before October 18th, 2019. Representative registrations will not be accepted after October 25th. The option for those who want to attend but are not registered by October 25th is to register as a visitor. Only visitors may come as walk-ins.
Visitors are always welcome. If you plan to visit, please register by February 22nd. There is no charge for visitors to register unless they wish to join us for the Saturday Luncheon, which must be prepaid ($28). Visitors are always welcome to register (without lunch) as walk-ins. If you are coming as a visitor, please consider serving as a copy coordinator, a timer, or a ballot teller.

When you register online you have a choice of paying by credit card or check. Payment must be received no later than October 25th, 2019.

Reserve a Hotel Room

The Hotel Rate is $109.00 for King or Double per night (Total $218.00 for both nights). There is no discount for the rooms, still, you ought to get a room as soon as you can to make sure you have a room. You may discover there are cheaper rates at this hotel, however, please make sure you either use the above link or the code when you call so we can get the meeting rooms for free.

We are now only offering the full Assembly Handbook which includes the all of the documents in the packets in a binder for $25.00. If you have the Assembly handbook, The Region 5 Secretary can print all of the Assembly specific documents including the agenda, motions, and reports for $15.00.

Documents will not be mailed but will be available for pickup when you register at the assembly. However, you do not need to rely on the Region 5 Secretary for printing. Instead you can print the documents using your printer, ask an OA friend to print the documents for you, or have the documents printed at an Office copy store.
